It appears that Oppo has completed preparations for its new budget-friendly model, the Oppo A38. Today, the A38 was spotted on Geekbench for performance testing, confirming some of its features. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications of the Oppo A38.
Oppo A38 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G85!
After its specifications were leaked the other day, the Oppo A38 surfaced on Geekbench today. According to Geekbench data, the A38 scored 431 points in the single-core test and passed the multi-core test with a score of 1340 points. Equipped with 4 GB of RAM, the device draws its power from the somewhat dated MediaTek Helio G85 processor, as indicated by the Geekbench results. Running on the Android 13 operating system, the device could be considered slightly behind today’s standards.
On its front, the A38 features a 6.3-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, delivering visuals in HD+ quality. Electrically, the device relies on a 5000 mAh battery for power and offers 128 GB of storage. On the rear side, the Oppo A38 features a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel configuration. It will be available in black and gold color options.
For now, this is what’s known about the Oppo A38. Of course, let’s also mention the price. According to leaks, the A38 will be priced at 159 Euros, which might seem reasonable given the Helio G85 processor. However, with only 4 GB of RAM, it could be said that it falls a bit short of current standards.
